National standardization in the e-health area (functions of the TC 83 of the TRMC MID RK)
The works of the Technical Committee for Standardization No83 "Electronic Health" (hereinafter - TC 83) is regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation. TC was created in accordance with the order of the Chairman of the State’s "Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee" of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan of January 8, 2014 No. 1 "On the establishment of technical committee for standardization."
Within the framework of national standardization TC 83 organizes and carries out the following activities:
- approval of preliminary national standards;
- monitoring and evaluation of the approved preliminary national standard’s application in order to process it into a national standard;
- creation of proposals on main directions for the development of national system for the technical regulation in e-health;
- participation in the development and examination of national standards, preliminary national standards and classifiers of technical and economic information, international, regional, national standards and classifiers of technical and economic information of foreign states and making changes into them in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation for e-health;
- formulation of proposals for reviewing, amending or repealing existing regulatory legal acts on e-health;
- formulation of proposals, unification and harmonization of normative legal acts and documents applied in the Republic of Kazakhstan with international, regional and national standards and classifiers of foreign countries;
- formulation of proposals for annual work plans for state standardization;
- cooperation with other national standardization organizations, international, regional and intergovernmental technical committees on e-health;
- participation in the work of other technical committees within its competence;

- Republican State Enterprise in the capacity of economic conduct “Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics”;
- Republican State Enterprise in the capacity of economic conduct “Scientific-Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Diseases”
- State Public Enterprise in the capacity of economic conduct "Oncological dispensary" of the Akimat of the city of Astana;
